The founder and owner of Habitat Works, Dustin Williams, is a lifelong outdoorsman with deep roots in Missouri’s hunting and conservation community.

Raised in St. Joseph and educated at the University of Missouri with a degree in Fisheries & Wildlife, Dustin has built his career around helping organizations and private owners make the most of their properties. His hands-on experience spans private land restoration, government forestry work, and even residential construction, giving him a well-rounded perspective of what land can truly be when managed with care.

In 2019, he founded Habitat Works LLC with one goal: to help fellow outdoorsmen and women improve their environments for both wildlife and people. Whether it’s timber stand improvement, CRP management, native plantings, or designing strategic hunting setups, Dustin offers practical, boots-on-the-ground expertise. He knows that great land management is about more than just checking boxes - it’s about understanding each property’s unique potential and helping owners reach their goals, season after season.

In 2024, Dustin also became a Land Specialist with Whitetail Properties, a real estate brokerage specializing in recreational, hunting, and rural land. This role complements his habitat work by allowing him to assist clients not only in managing land, but also in buying and selling it with a focus on conservation and long-term stewardship.
